We’re ready to spend the summer on the waves, captains! Are you? Let's take a look at the plans for this update, including our exciting Independence Day celebrations. For some festive gear, redeem the code TCN61LL3JS at https://wowslegends.com/code-redeemer/ to receive 6x "Red, White, and Blue" camouflages!

Don’t feel like reading the full patch note? Here's a short summary:

Fleets

The wait is over! You can now create your own Fleet, or join an existing one to play with your friends. As you play, you’ll earn Oil, the special Fleet resource, which can be spent on useful enhancements to increase your Fleet size, reduce the cost of post-battle maintenance, and more. You’ll also have the chance to acquire select prizes, such as Spring Big Crates. We'll take a closer look at Fleets in a dedicated article tomorrow (June 16), so stay tuned!

Please note: This feature is not yet available for the mobile version of Legends.

July 4th Celebrations

SanDiego_US_T9_CA_Art_Independence-Day_1920x1080_WG_SPB_WoWSL_VER.02.jpg

In this update, we’re celebrating American Independence Day with tons of new content! Let’s go over what you can expect, and take a detailed look at all the American-themed content that will arrive starting next week.

Independium: Your Key to Celebratory Content

Independium is the event currency for this update. You can acquire it through the dedicated campaign (both with and without the Admiralty Backing), via Random Bundles, and by completing the "A Fistful of Independium" mission. Rewards include Popeye collaboration content, Semper Fortis Collection crates, Stars & Stripes Random Bundles, and more.

San Diego and Stars & Stripes Random Bundles

Two new Random Bundles will be available in this update. One is centered around American Tier VII Premium cruiser San Diego (more on her later), and the other drops "Stars and Stripes" permanent camouflages for various high-tier American ships, such as Des Moines and Minnesota. The Liberty Calls (San Diego) bundle is available for doubloons, while Stars & Stripes can be purchased with Independium.

Semper Fortis Collection

The newest collection arrives with 12 new cards in three themes: naval uniform, medals, and artillery. Complete the collection to earn a themed flag, patch, and base, alongside the ultimate reward: the Lady Liberty Commander guise with a unique voiceover. This guise can be applied to American and French non-collaboration Commanders.

Please note: This feature is not yet available for the mobile version of Legends.

Independence Day Port

Even more fireworks! In this update, the special Port can be yours (only on consoles).

Popeye Collaboration

Starting June 26, this update is bringing back Stellar Clash event content! Balance Changes and Legendary Modifications

image.png

Epic and Legendary modifications are both available now! And now, your 4th slot modifications can be upgraded into the Epic and Legendary versions using Steel Badges. Normal modifications can be upgraded to Epic for 500 Steel Badges, and Epic modifications can be further upgraded to Legendary for 2,000 Steel Badges. To upgrade a modification, first install it onto the ship of your choice. Then, you can upgrade it like you would upgrade a crafted camouflage.

Legendary modifications provide both the Epic modification bonuses and even more buffs each time you sink an enemy ship. Epic boosts are activated with every 30,000 damage dealt by your ship, and Legendary boosts are activated each time you sink an enemy ship. Each boost can stack up to five times.

In addition, it now costs 25 doubloons to dismount any modification. This includes Epic and Legendary modifications! Alternatively, Epic modifications can be sold for 1,875,000 credits and Legendary modifications can be sold for 3,375,000 credits.

Here's the lineup for Legendary modifications:

  • Gun Fire Control System Mod. 2
    • Epic boost: +2% to main battery range per stack
    • Legendary boost: +5% to main battery damage per stack
  • Artillery Plotting Room Mod. 2
    • Epic boost: −2% to dispersion of main battery shells per stack
    • Legendary boost: +5% to main battery damage per stack
  • Main Battery Mod. 3
    • Epic boost: −2% to main battery reload time per stack
    • Legendary boost: +5% to main battery damage per stack
  • Secondary Battery Mod. 3
    • Epic boost: −5% to secondary battery reload time per stack
    • Legendary boost: +5% to secondary battery damage per stack
  • Torpedo Launchers Mod. 3

Get ready for a new way to make your ships even more powerful!

This isn't all! In fact, we are making changes to a number of ships in the game. Learn more in our Ministry of Balance article.

New Ships of the Update

American Tier VIII Cruiser Salem

Salem_US_T8_CA_Screenshots_port_branded_Update_Upd-5-4_1920x1080_WG_BG_WoWSL.jpg

This all-new American cruiser comes with a high rate of fire, improved penetration angles for AP shells, a solid AA suite, and the choice between the Sonar and Radar consumables. It's time to deal damage! You can acquire her in the Forge starting June 19.

In addition, the price of USN battleship Missouri has been permanently reduced from 30,000 to 17,500 Steel. The players who have acquired her starting from May 15 will automatically receive compensation in Steel equal to the difference between the old and new price.

American Tier VII Cruiser San Diego

One more American cruiser. There’s no such thing as too many of those, right? San Diego comes with SAP shells, rapid-reloading guns, and the Main Battery Reload Booster. That’s a lot of potential right there! You can acquire her through Liberty Calls Random Bundles.

The Return of Former Campaign Ships For Global XP

This update brings back French battleship République and German destroyer ZF-6 (also available for doubloons!). Both of these ships are now back for good.
