Lunar New Year: Legendary Journey to the West

Starting January 27, get ready to light the lanterns and set sail on a mystical adventure! To celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, we’ve drawn inspiration from the Chinese classic novel “Journey to the West” and its iconic characters—especially the legendary Monkey King himself, Sun Wukong! 

We’re also bringing back themed content from past Lunar New Year events and introducing brand-new Japanese cruiser Tokachi, available in the fresh Lunar New Year crate.

Journey to the West 

Don’t miss the chance to embark on a sea voyage with Sun Wukong, the legendary Monkey King! Beyond his extraordinary power, he’s also gifted with a sharp mind, an unstoppable spirit, and a knack for mischief. Sun Wukong will accompany you as a Commander guise, compatible with any nation and featuring red-colored shell tracers, a signal flare for horn sounding, and fireworks for activating Legendary skills. This guise also provides a daily bonus of +50% credits when you receive 2 "Caused flooding" ribbons. 

Your journey will become even more exciting with new Pan-Asian heavy cruiser Wukong, inspired by the Monkey King. This ship boasts one of the most varied consumable selections in the game, including Main Battery Reload Booster, Torpedo Reload Booster, Engine Boost, Sonar, and more. Her Smoke Generator and effective deepwater torpedoes allow her to execute striking ambushes!  

Wukong is based on French cruiser Charles Martel, with the following changes: 

• Smoke Generator and Torpedo Reload Booster consumables added 
• Regular torpedoes replaced by deepwater ones with improved characteristics: 
  • Torpedo reload time reduced from 90 to 70 s 
  • Torpedo maximum damage increased from 44,200 to 46,500 
  • Torpedo speed increased from 60 to 65 kts 
  • Torpedo detectability range reduced from 1.3 to 0.8 km 
• Ship HP reduced from 38,000 to 34,000 
• Detectability range by sea reduced from 13.45 to 12.5 km 
• Detectability range by sea while firing in smoke reduced from 7.84 to 7.07 km 
• Detectability range by air reduced from 8.07 to 7.47 km 
• Detectability range by air while firing main battery reduced from 4.06 to 2.6 km 
• Main battery gun maximum range increased from 14.4 to 15.2 km

She also offers excellent concealment, maneuverability, and speed, and she comes with "The Four Elements" Lunar New Year-themed skin. Researching the Project will also unlock Pan-Asian Commander Chen Shaokuan and various in-game resources. Plus, you can earn the Jinan flag by completing the Journey to the West mission.
