Ministry of Balance: Viva la Marina!

Captains, get ready: fresh balance changes are sailing your way on May 4! You can expect a big rework of Italian destroyers and their Commanders, as well as buffs to high-tier Spanish cruisers, buffs and nerfs to some Commander skills, and more. This article has all the details.

Italian Destroyers Rework

Leone

  • Added an optional upgrade that swaps AP shells for SAP shells
    • Main battery reload time with SAP upgrade increased from 8 to 9 s
    • Main battery SAP shells deal 2,350 damage and can penetrate up to 34 mm
  • Ship HP increased from 13,700 to 15,000 (with saturation adjusted proportionally)
  • Added Main Battery Reload Booster consumable as an option to the same slot as Engine Boost
    • Number of charges: 2
    • Cooldown time: 120 s
    • Duration: 15 s
    • Improves main battery reload time by 50%

FR25

  • Main battery reload time reduced from 6.6 to 5.5 s
  • Main battery SAP shell damage increased from 2,700 to 3,250
  • Main battery HE shell damage increased from 2,000 to 2,200
  • Added a standard Smoke Generator consumable as an option to the same slot as Exhaust Smoke Generator
    • Number of charges: 2
    • Cooldown time: 240 s
    • Duration: 20 s
    • Dispersion time: 85 s

Paolo Emilio

  • Added an optional upgrade that swaps AP shells for SAP shells
    • Main battery reload time with SAP upgrade increased from 10.7 to 12 s
    • Main battery SAP shells deal 3,000 damage and can penetrate up to 38 mm
  • Removed long-range AA battery: Paolo Emilio's 135 mm main battery guns are not dual-purpose and therefore should not contribute to AA defenses
  • 20 mm AA gun average damage per second increased from 76 to 100
  • 13.2 mm AA gun average damage per second increased from 27 to 37
  • Added Defensive AA Fire consumable to slot 4:

Luigi Rizzo

  • Added the Go All Out skill to the fourth row (reduces detectability by up to 10% while Engine Boost is active but increases its cooldown time by up to 35%)

Giuseppe Fulgosi

  • Added the Go All Out skill to the second row (reduces detectability by up to 10% while Engine Boost is active but increases its cooldown time by up to 35%)
  • Added the Fully Packed skill to Legendary skills (reduces your consumable cooldown time by up to 5% and provides an additional charge for all consumables)

Carlo Bergamini

  • Added the Go All Out skill to the second row (reduces detectability by up to 10% while Engine Boost is active but increases its cooldown time by up to 35%)

  • Detectability range after firing in smoke reduced from 13.95 to 10.46 km

Sevastopol

  • Detectability range after firing in smoke reduced from 13.35 to 13.07 km
  • Detectability range by sea reduced from 14.61 to 14.3 km
  • Detectability range by air reduced from 8.77 to 8.58 km
  • Repair Party duration reduced from 60 to 40 s

  • Added Enhanced Secondary Targeting to the third slot as an alternative to Catapult Fighter

Cristoforo Colombo

  • Secondary battery firing range increased from 6.5 to 7 km
  • Improved the Enhanced Secondary Targeting consumable:
    • Number of charges increased from 3 to 4
    • Cooldown time reduced from 160 to 120 s
    • Secondary battery shell grouping increased by 25% (from 2 to 2.5 sigma)

  • Secondary battery survivability is now improved by 15/20/25/30% instead of 5/10/15/20%
  • Secondary battery dispersion is now reduced by 6/9/12/15% instead of 3/6/9/12%
  • Secondary battery reload time is now reduced by 6/9/12/15% instead of 5/8/10/15%

Firefighter

  • Damage Control Party duration is now reduced by 20% instead of 40%

Running With Scissors

  • Main battery dispersion drawback removed

Artisan's Touch

  • Citadel strikes damage is now increased by 6/9/12/15% instead of 4/6/8/10%

Scrap Iron Flotilla

  • Incoming damage from shells, torpedoes, and bombs to your destroyer per 1% HP lost is now decreased by 0.1/0.15/0.2/0.25% instead of 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4%

Air Support

  • The distance to activate the special effect reduced from 7.5/8/8.5/9 km to 7/7.4/7.7/8 km

Hidden Hand

  • Damage of torpedoes launched by Airstrike aircraft is now reduced by 25/22/18/15% instead of 20/17/13/10%

The Trident Gambit

  • Torpedo reload time after your first and every following third torpedo launched in each battle, counted separately for each launcher, is now reduced by 15/20/25/30% instead of 25/30/35/40%
