Sea of thieves crossover with ships.

All they would have to do to turn this into "Sea of Griefers: Age of Iron" is to turn on friendly fire and cease all punishment for TKing. Of course it would kill the game as everyone who wants to only be shot at by the Enemy would immediately head for the exits.

    If Sony enables cross-platform play

Almost went to PS4 over XBONE because of M$ screwing up on rentals and such.....thank God I decided to accept their cave-in and stayed put. Sony is way worse than M$ has dreamed of being.
  3. Know what you mean......well, maybe we can get into the beta when that rolls around.
  4. I could be wrong.....but I suspect that the results of such actions will not be to their liking.

    Console exclusives?

Hopefully, but we don't know yet. those that got picked will learn some info, but they won't be able to tell you unless you got picked too, and then you'll already know.

Your opinion on maxing out tiers @7

I've gotten the impression from what I've read here and on the Discord that the game has been designed from the ground up for a 7 tier TT and that is how the game will be once Live. Can you put up a link to the post you're referencing?

Your opinion on maxing out tiers @7

We don't have enough information to know if this is good or bad. Even though the IJN and USN lines are lean on paper ships, we'll have some insight on how they are planning on doing this once we see the Alpha TTs (if chosen, of course).

Your opinion on maxing out tiers @7

Assuming they are cutting the paper ships, it's gonna take some work balancing Yamato to fit in Tier VII with Iowa, Bismarck, and Vanguard (KGV won't do). There is also the possibility they will do away with what's in Tier I-III and Tier IV will be the new Tier I.

    Friendly Fire and WoWS Legends

I remember Beta and the early live game quite well...it was a nightmare, but then WoTC was unwilling to be proactive to stop it, while WoWS is pretty good about it. I've only been attacked on purpose in WoWS once in the last 150 games or so and the troll ended up sinking themselves with mirrored damage before I really got hurt. I think it can be made to work, but I hope the Dev Team is thinking about the challenge that is going to be presented by the trolls and griefers on console.....once the Open Beta rolls around they're going to have to contend with it, if they haven't already in CBT. I think it could be brought under control, if the will was there to do what had to be done to stop it. Hitting TKers with a fine of double or more of the cost of repairs (and expended consumables) of their victims would speedily bankrupt them and they wouldn't be able to play for long. they may not care about punishment but they need credits to repair their ships so they can play, and I doubt they will be willing to spend real money to convert doubloons to credits so that they can continue to troll in the face of crippling credit fines...in effect, WG would be trolling them and I'd doubt if they would like that much.

    Tune suggestions

Here are some....there are others, but I'm not sure if they would pass TOS.

    Friendly Fire and WoWS Legends

A question I think is on the minds of many players....especially those of us who participated in the WoT Console Beta and early release, is whether Friendly Fire is to be allowed in WoWS: Legends. While, IMO, the WoWS Team has done a very good job of minimizing the number of incidents where players intentionally damage or sink their team-mates, the console communities are a somewhat different environment from PC. In WoTC, griefing and trolling became so prevalent that Friendly Fire was entirely disabled, and on the WoTC Forums posts suggesting bringing it back were guaranteed clickbait that could generate multi-page threads with ease. While personally, I feel that fire discipline should be part of a player's skillset and friendly fire should be on....I also don't like the idea of getting torpedoed at spawn by a 10 year old just for laughs, especially if I loaded up on flags and camo for the match. To that end, I would like the ask the following questions, and invite other forumers to give their opinions as well. Will Friendly Fire be enabled for Legends? If yes, will the policy be similar to what is in effect on WoWS? I think the ideal would be for it to be on, with severe financial penalties calibrated to bankrupt anyone making a habit of TKing, if they aren't banned first.

Toggle for No taunt screen, aka patches. If we must have them, then an option to use a portrait of an anime captain if you're running one as your "patch" that also cannot be switched off by your victim so they have to see it.
