You can obtain the collection cards from containers scattered across a mission chain; complete the collection to unlock Mikasa '23 sporting a bright new paintjob!
Collections aren’t yet available on mobile.
Loyalty Reward
It’s that time of year again—our annual bonus for playing Legends is making its return! Golden Week '23
Golden week is back, and this time with more content! We're introducing multiple samurai-inspired skins named "Shiro" for a few ships. Nagato and Fusō are getting this treatment, while Hayate is getting a variation of last year's Golden Week permanent camo. To spice things up, we're also introducing a Commander guise: Ashikaga Teru, a samurai lady keen on always getting into the win column. She also has an individual softly spoken voiceover that you should totally preview in the Store! Finally, you’ll find a new camo along with other items in our Golden Week '23 crates. Take a moment to check out the contents at wowslegends.com/containers.

German Commander Rebalancing
We've teased a balance run on German Commanders, and it’s finally happening! There are a few skill shifts, some individual skill rebalancing, and even a few new skills! The changes will affect other Commanders too, albeit in a limited way. We don't expect massive shifts in the power of German ships, but the builds and gameplay should receive just the right amount of spice. You can find all details on the changes in this article.
Radar Rework
Another important global balance change concerns how the Radar is going function from now on.
The rework entails the user of the consumable getting the reconnaissance data immediately, while their allies can only see the enemy icons on the Minimap immediately and will only spot the revealed enemy ships visibly on the sea after 5 seconds. Additionally, messages to allies about Radar or Sonar being active are displayed in the combat log, and the player tag also receives a Radar icon next to it for as long as the consumable is active.
In addition to this change, two ships have had their Radar stats rebalanced:
- Orkan's Radar duration increased from 15 to 20 seconds
- Black's Radar duration increased from 13 to 19 seconds.
Miscellaneous Balance Changes
Updates to their armor have made King George V and Duke of York more vulnerable, so they have received an improved Repair Party:
- Extra charge added
- Repair Party cooldown reduced from 80 to 60 seconds
- HP per second increased by ~25%
- Restores more HP to the ship parts, making them a little harder to saturate with damage after Repair Party has been used compared to the old consumable
Arena Seasons 17–19
Fight in three seasons with Tiers VII, VIII, and Legendary; full divisions allowed; no carriers. Wait for our dedicated article to learn more, and don't miss the first season starting on April 20.
Frag Counter Permanent Camouflage
Worcester, Shimakaze, and Yamato now have access to a special permanent camouflage. This camo will display the number of ships you've sunk with the ship it’s applied to, and the count will reflect all the adversaries you've destroyed previously. The look costs 5,000 Steel and is available at the Forge.
New Ships of the Update
British Tier VI Premium battleship Collingwood
Rapid reload (and Main Battery Reload Booster on top of it); great accuracy and angling; and two important words to take note of—BIG. GUNS. Collingwood isn’t here to joke around! She's available in the Store from April 17 on her own or as a part of an XXL bundle.
Japanese high-tier destroyers make a comeback
Yūdachi and Hayate are returning! Both ships will be available for Global XP, with the former costing 750,000 and the latter close to double that—1,400,000. Both ships are here to stay from April 24 (coinciding with the improved to x35 GXP conversion rate from this date until May 8), so there's no need to rush your decision.
Stats Per Ship
The stat bonanza continues! After having introduced the refreshed Service Record, we've taken a couple of months to flesh out the individual ship stats, and here they are! You can browse individual ship's statistics for each of the battle types, as well as look at their average and best results. The statistics tab is available in the ship menu between the ship technical stats and armor view.
This feature isn’t yet available on mobile.
Mobile Changes
Some more improvements are specifically coming to the mobile version, including the following:
- The main menu interface was improved, and all the categories now fit onto the screen without the need to scroll sideways.
- The Binocular view was corrected to reduce the zoom a little so that more of any particular enemy ship would fit in and require less fine-tuning for aiming.
- New players on the mobile platform get an introductory battle that’s a little less demanding and provides tutorial messages.
- The loading indicator has changed in all windows and on all platforms.
- Slightly improved performance on some mobile devices.
Bug fixes
- Atlântico’s 9.2-inch (234 mm) secondaries now have 1/4 HE pen instead of 1/6, penetrating armor up to 59 mm thick.
- Removed a shoal on the Atlantic map that many sailors got stuck on.
- Fixed the turret mast on Azur Lane Atago.
- Fixed some shadow inconsistencies at different zoom levels and for different light source angles.
- Fixed inconsistencies for Kleber’s stats being displayed differently depending on the localization.
- Stig Hansson Ericson's portrait was off-center in the Commanders menu.
- Several of the new Azur Lane Commanders' voice lines were triggered incorrectly.
- North map spawn points should now mix the ship types better.
- (mobile) Torpedo and main gun reload timers switched places.
- (mobile) "Spotted" icons did not correctly appear in Arena battles.
- (mobile) Missing Smoke Screen timer in Arena battles.
- (mobile) Rare cases of iOS deleting the settings and login information.
- (mobile) Black screen for a few seconds at the startup of the app.
- (mobile) Fixed several instances of UI elements and/or text breaching the intended borders.
Other
Improved the interface of the player menu tab, processing friend requests, and blocking players.
Added in-game support for the Korean and Chinese languages (both traditional and simplified).
Have a great spring on the seas and turn the tide!
