5 Years on the Waves: a Greek-Style Birthday

This August, World of Warships: Legends celebrates its Fifth Anniversary! We’re happy to invite you to join the festive mood and celebrate with us, just like in previous years. This time, we've prepared quite a few special activities and a whole bunch of new and unique content inspired by the charmingly classical and vivid vibes of Ancient Greece. 

Champion’s Box 

Even though it's our birthday, we made sure to get some presents for you as well! Check out the Champion's Box, a special container that drops one random crate from our best events of the past: Stellar Container III, Golden Week '24, Santa Level 3, Black Friday '19-'23, or Halloween '21–'23.

New Commander Guises 

Your most heated battles may require divine support from these new Commander guises! 

The Athena Commander guise is available in the Store for Drachmas. She'll guide you toward victory with her strategic brilliance and spirit of leadership. 

Get the storms on your side with Poseidon’s aid! This Commander guise can be obtained through the new Crafting Station, which will be available starting August 19. We’ll describe it in detail a bit later in an upcoming article. 

Of course, we couldn't forget about the main deity of Olympus—Zeus! His formidable power and commanding presence will help you crush your foes. You can obtain Zeus by completing the Divine Odyssey Calendar. 

Divine Odyssey Calendar 

This new Calendar starts on August 5. Complete 3 weeks of daily missions to earn valuable prizes, with the Zeus Commander guise being the main reward! Just like before, if you miss any days, you can catch up by spending 250 doubloons for each missed day. After the initial 3 weeks, you'll have an extra 2 weeks to complete the Calendar. However, you'll need to use doubloons to unlock each missed day. Here's the prize breakdown:

Visit the Bureau from August 5 through September 9 to start researching the new free Legendary Birthday Bureau Project! Complete its segments, each representing an important milestone from the past year in Legends, and earn exciting rewards, including a Champion's Box as the main reward!

Drachmas and Birthday Content in the Store 

You can use Drachmas to pick up various cool items in the Store.

First off, you can purchase several ships in the Store for Drachmas, including five old ships that we've brought back for this anniversary update: Georgia, Belfast '43, Siegfried, Aigle, and Independence. Additionally, two completely new ships are also available for Drachmas:

The first new ship available for Drachmas is Soviet Tier VII Premium battleship Borodino. 

The second new ship is Pan-American Tier IV Premium battleship Rio de Janeiro. You can even collect enough Drachmas to obtain her without spending a single doubloon! 

Other items you can purchase for Drachmas include the Athena Commander guise; fresh Greek-styled camouflages; and Anniversary crates that can drop British, French, German, or Japanese ships, among other in-game goodies.

You can receive Drachmas from these sources: 

• The Aegean Arrow campaign: 1,500 Drachmas for free and 3,000 more with the Admiralty Backing.
• Divine Odyssey Calendar: 1,500 Drachmas for free.
• Treasure Hunt web event: 2,000 Drachmas for free (you may need to spend some in-game resources to get the full reward).
• Bundles in the Store: 250; 1,250; or 2,500 Drachmas with each bundle. 

Special Mission: Under the Sun of Ellada 

Complete this special free mission from August 5 through 26 to receive lots of rewards, including Champion's Boxes! Here is the full list of rewards:

Windroses & First Win Bonus 

We've got some extra goodies lined up for the celebrations! From August 19 through 26, Windroses will grant bonuses for the first win of the update on Tier IV–Legendary Tier ships. They come alongside a First Win Bonus, improved to x5, from September 2 through 9.
