
Voyage Through Time: A Retrofuturistic Adventure Awaits
Progress and nostalgia collide! Starting May 19, step into a time-traveling adventure inspired by retrofuturistic aesthetics—a world of futuristic designs and the lively spirit of scientific and technological progress. The event features new ships, themed skins, special Commander guises, and the new "Path of Progress" Calendar. Plus, you can obtain Ship Parts for the Hindenburg marathon as a bonus on top of event-themed items and by completing the Calendar.
Ships
Scarlet Thunder
Scarlet Thunder is an alternate-reality take on British Tier VIII battleship Duncan. Created by brilliant engineers, she delivers exceptional HE shell penetration and damage. Although she retains similar speed and HP to her counterpart, Scarlet Thunder features thicker armor and enhanced maneuverability. However, these improvements come at a cost—her Engine Boost and torpedoes have been removed.
Here is a list of the most notable changes to Scarlet Thunder compared to Duncan:
- Main battery maximum range increased from 16.9 to 17.1 km
- Main battery shell grouping increased by 18.75% (from 1.6 to 1.9 sigma)
- Main battery dispersion worsened approximately by 20% (moving her from the battlecruiser dispersion curve to the standard battleship one)
- Main battery reload time reduced from 31 to 30 seconds
- Main battery HE shell damage increased from 6,150 to 7,200
- Main battery HE shell penetration increased from 70 to 105 mm
- Main battery HE shell fire starting chances increased from 47 to 48%
- Main battery AP shell damage reduced from 13,050 to 11,500
- Detectability range by sea increased from 15.41 to 15.63 km
- Detectability range by air increased from 12.33 to 12.5 km
- Detectability range by sea while firing in smoke increased from 15.26 to 15.47 km
- Rudder-shift time reduced from 16.6 to 13.0 seconds
- Reduced the amount of restored HP from 60 to 10% for citadel and from 60 to 50% for other parts
- Bow and stern armor thickness increased from 25 to 32 mm
- Removed torpedoes
- Removed Engine Boost
- Other various changes to secondary battery and AA defenses

Meteor
Meteor is a retrofuturistic reinterpretation of Soviet Tier VIII destroyer Delny. Designed as a sniper destroyer, she specializes in AP shells and long-range firepower, but her HE shells offer limited damage potential. Her torpedoes reload faster but have higher detectability. Meteor also boasts a versatile set of consumables—while she lacks Smoke Generator, she features Main Battery Reload Booster and a choice between Sonar and Repair Party.
Here's the full list of changes to Meteor compared to Delny:
- Main battery maximum range increased from 11.1 to 11.4 km
- Main battery AP shell damage increased from 2,850 to 3,150
- Main battery reload time increased from 5.0 to 5.8 seconds
- Main battery HE shell damage reduced from 2,050 to 1,650
- Torpedo reload time reduced from 140 to 110 seconds
- Torpedo detectability range increased from 1.1 to 1.3 km
- Ship HP increased from 22,000 to 25,000
- Smoke Generator replaced by Sonar
- Main Battery Reload Booster added to the 4th consumable slot

Anton Grant
Admiral Anton Grant isn't just an experienced naval officer—he's always looking for ways to push the boundaries of technology. If a new invention might give his ships an advantage, he'll be the first to try it out.

GM-22D is a robot built for engineering and ship construction. Despite being made of metal and circuitry, he matches human engineers in both intelligence and creativity.

This new crate provides a chance to receive a ship, Commander guise, or skin from the Retrofuturism event, as well as various other goods. You can find this crate in the following sources:

Path of Progress Calendar
The new Calendar kicks off on May 19. Complete daily tasks over the course of 4 weeks to earn a variety of rewards, including the final prize—the Doktor von Roth Commander guise. After the initial 4-week period, you'll have an additional 2 weeks to catch up and finish the Calendar until June 30. If you miss a day, you can unlock its missions for free (up to 4 missed days) or for 250 doubloons per day.
