From June 30 to August 4, get ready to salute the stars and stripes as the Independence Day 2025 celebration kicks off in Legends! This year's event introduces two powerful new ships—Legendary Tier cruiser Puerto Rico and Tier VI Premium battleship West Virginia '44—along with new skins inspired by the U.S. Navy’s "Great White Fleet." Some of this new content will be available for Independium, a special currency returning for the event. The enhanced New York Port will also be available throughout the update. Independium

Independium, a currency made specifically for our Independence Day events, is back! This time, you can spend it on new ship Puerto Rico, new U.S.-themed skins, and more. You can earn Independium via these sources:

Forward for Freedom campaign: 6,000 Independium without the Admiralty Backing and 12,000 additional Independium with the Admiralty Backing
Calendar: 4,500 Independium
"Steel and Stars" random bundle: up to 50,000 Independium

New Ships

Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico is a new U.S. Legendary Tier cruiser—an Alaska-class powerhouse equipped with an extra triple-gun turret and a strong secondary battery. She boasts increased HP to keep her in the fight even at close range, plus a versatile set of consumables.

You can obtain Puerto Rico for Independium. She comes equipped with a special "White and Gold" skin inspired by the U.S. Navy’s "Great White Fleet."

West Virginia '44

West Virginia '44 is a new U.S. Tier VI Premium battleship. She boasts an exceptionally large-caliber main battery for her tier, allowing you to penetrate the armor of nearly any ship at the same level with ease. She’s also armed with an improved secondary battery featuring increased range and accuracy. In addition, her excellent concealment, large HP pool, and solid AA defenses make her a strong contender in close-range combat.

New Skins

Don’t miss new epic "White and Gold" skins for Iowa, Maine, Rochester, and Puerto Rico, inspired by the U.S. Navy’s "Great White Fleet"! All of them are available individually for Independium, except for the skin for Puerto Rico, which comes exclusively with the ship—also available for this currency.

"Steel and Stars" Random Bundle

Check out the "Steel and Stars" random bundle in the Store for a chance to get new U.S. Tier VI battleship West Virginia '44 and other U.S. ships—Constellation, Enterprise, or Anchorage—plus various in-game items.
