Ahoy, Captains! November is coming, which means Black Friday is on the horizon, bringing stylish black ships and special offers. Of course, that's not all: plenty of other new content awaits you, including the British cruiser campaign, French alternate destroyers in Early Access, the second stage of the Road to New Year, and much more!
Here's what's new this November:
Phantom of Sherwood Campaign
Join the new 4-week Phantom of Sherwood campaign, available from November 3 to December 1. British Tier VII Premium cruiser Nottingham and plenty of other rewards are up for grabs. Nottingham is a heavy cruiser with impressive concealment and solid armor. She's packing impressive torpedo armament: she can unleash 16 of them with an 8 km range, offering some of the best damage per minute among Tier VII ships!
To obtain Nottingham, complete all 80 campaign milestones with an active Admiralty Backing. During this update, you'll also be able to complete campaign tasks in Brawls, in addition to Standard, Arcade, and Versus AI Battles. If you miss any challenges, you can use the catch-up mechanic. Black Friday in Legends: New Black Ships and Discounts
From November 3 to December 1, sail into Black Friday with elegant black ships, including the new black versions of Sims, Alabama, München, Graf Zeppelin, and Brisbane. You can find all these new ships in Black Friday '25 crates, three of which you can receive through the themed mission, campaign, and Brawl—one from each activity. Also, check out the Store for discounted bundles featuring black ships from previous years!
Another Black Friday activity ties in with Thanksgiving: from November 24 to December 1, complete the "Thanksgiving on the Waves" mission to receive 20x Shadow camouflages; 100,000 credits; 1x Commander crate; 1x Commendation; 15,000 Commander XP; and the main prize—1x Black Friday Ultimate Crate! This crate is guaranteed to drop another Black Friday crate from previous years, giving you the chance to receive a black ship and many other rewards.

French Alternate Destroyers Arriving in Early Access
The new line of French Tier IV–VII alternate destroyers is coming to Early Access! These ships are characterized by a strong focus on fast torpedoes that can cause fires on enemy ships and gain speed and fire-setting potential the farther they travel. During this update, from November 3 to December 1, you'll have a chance to find the new ships in Early Access crates, several of which are available for free through the Phantom of Sherwood campaign. Each Early Access ship comes with a personal mission, available until January 19, that rewards doubloons. We'll share more details on each ship soon in a dedicated article!
Road to New Year: Stage Two
Keep collecting Ship Parts to receive Pan-European Tier VI Premium battleship Lugdunum in a unique icy skin! The second stage of the Road to New Year marathon will run from November 3 to December 1.
Some of you may have noticed that completing the Road to New Year mission was locked behind owning a Legendary Tier ship, which wasn't entirely fair to many players. We'll make up for this mistake in the new update: you'll be able to earn 3,000 more Ship Parts—up to 13,000 in total without needing a Legendary Tier ship.
- Phantom of Sherwood campaign: 6,000 Ship Parts (no Admiralty Backing needed!)
- Road to New Year mission: 7,000 Ship Parts
To unlock Lugdunum, you need to collect 20,000 Ship Parts. If you started in the previous update, you'll be able to collect enough during this one! But even if you join during this update, you'll still have time to catch up until January 19. Note that the ship will only become available starting December 1, with the arrival of the Christmas update.
Prepare Your Steel: Marceau Arrives in December!
Captains, those of you who follow our socials already know that French Tier VIII Premium destroyer Marceau is coming for Steel this December, once the Christmas update is released. Now is the perfect time to prepare and earn enough Steel to get it! During this update, from November 3 to December 1, you can earn up to 3,400 additional Steel by playing the new seasons of Brawl and Ranked Battles. You can also earn Steel through Endless Trials, which unlock after completing all 80 campaign milestones with the Admiralty Backing. If you buy out the campaign on day 1, you can receive up to 1,000 Steel in total by completing all the Endless Trials.
First-Ever Asymmetric Brawl: 5 Players vs. 12 Bots
Brawl Season 32 features asymmetric battles: fight in teams of 5 players against 12 bots! All Tier V–VI ships are allowed. Battles will last 12 minutes instead of the usual 8, and bot damage will be slightly reduced. But beware—these are new bots, cleverer and tougher to beat than those in other battle types like Versus AI! Rewards include Steel, a Black Friday '25 crate, camouflages, and Commander Progression Items. This season will run for the entire update, from November 3 to December 1.
One-on-One Ranked Battles
Put your skills to the test in two new Ranked seasons featuring one-on-one battles with Tier VII cruisers and battleships! Rank up to claim various rewards, including Steel, camouflages, and the "AA Guns Mod. 3 - Epic" modification, which can be added to ships that can equip it (mostly Tier VII+ ships).
- Season 88: November 18–24; only Tier VII cruisers
- Season 89: November 25 – December 1; only Tier VII battleships
Special Missions: End of WWI and Guy Fawkes Night
During this update, don't forget to complete these two special missions:
- Guy Fawkes Night mission: November 3–10; British ships only; rewards include 5x Common Credit Boosters, 12x Union Jack camouflages, and 1x Commander crate.
- Silencing the Storm mission, commemorating the end of WWI: November 10–17; all nations; rewards include 12x Battle of Jutland camouflages, 15,000 Commander XP, 2x Fall Big Crates, and 2x Battle of Jutland crates.
Full Gamepad Control for the Mobile Version
Good news for mobile players: starting November 3, you'll be able to use a gamepad not only in battle but also in Port, the menu, settings, and everywhere else!
Balance Changes
This update is rich with balance changes, so check out the latest Ministry of Balance article for all the details! Below is a quick overview of everything that's going to change:
Ships
This time, we've prepared a number of balance adjustments affecting the following ships:
- Buffs: Sims, München, Brisbane, Des Moines, Halland, Gearing and Gearing R, Soobrazitelny, Boevoi, Kiev, and Neustrashimy
- Nerfs: Louisiana, Gdańsk, Johan de Witt, Haarlem, and Eendracht
Armor
We've standardized the armor of several Tier VI Tech Tree battleships, setting it to 26 mm for the bow, stern, and auxiliary exterior plating: Lyon, Gneisenau, Nagato, Sinop, North Carolina, Colorado, and Connecticut. In addition, a few other ships have received minor armor updates.
Commander
Pascual Cervera y Topete has received an additional skill in the third row: Strategic Premonition, improving the ready rack reload time by up to 16% and allowing you to reload individual shells in the ready rack.
Maps
Domination mode for several maps has been reworked to improve your battle experience. These changes include spawn repositioning and matchmaking adjustments. In particular, we've adjusted the matchmaking for higher tiers so that Strait and the smaller variants of Estuary no longer appear. In addition, Fault Line returns to Tier VII battles!
Improvements and Bug Fixes
All platforms
- Added a new visual effect that makes ships appear wet in certain Ports.
- Fixed an issue where fire-setting chances were displayed incorrectly on the Specs screen. They now match the values shown on the Loadout screen.
Mobile
- Fixed an issue where Chkalov's aircraft sometimes launched without the JATO (jet-assisted take-off) smoke animation.
- Fixed an issue where the binoculars button incorrectly showed the "Reloading" tag, which should only appear on the fire button.
- The Social menu no longer closes when you tap "Invite to Division" while in the Tech Tree.
