Celebrating the French Navy: New Skins, Calendar, and Commander

Bonjour, Captains! Our new event is dedicated to the French Navy, so prepare your "flotte française" for something special! First of all, we've created gorgeous new skins for select French battleships, and each one comes with bonus Ship Parts for the Kremlin marathon. Second, a new Calendar awaits you, featuring the Marianne guise for French Commanders as the final reward. Finally, you'll be able to expand your personnel roster with Charles Bléry—a new Commander for classic French destroyers. More details below!

New Battleship Skins

During this update, you can find new République Française skins for seven French Premium battleships: Tier V Normandie, Tier VI Lyon, Tier VI Strasbourg, Tier VII Richelieu, Tier VII Flandre, Tier VIII Alsace, and Legendary Tier Bourgogne. These skins are available individually in the Store and can also drop from the new French Battleship crate. Regardless of how you obtain them, each skin comes with a bonus 500 Ship Parts, helping you progress through the new marathon for Soviet Legendary Tier battleship Kremlin.

French Battleship Crate

This new crate has a chance to drop one of the new République Française skins or a French Premium battleship: Tier VI Strasbourg or Tier VII Flandre. Here's where you can find the new crate during this update:

Keeper of Liberty Calendar

Another French-related activity is the new Keeper of Liberty Calendar, spanning 3 weeks from January 19. Complete all of its daily tasks to receive the Marianne Commander guise, as well as a French Battleship crate, a unique flag, and many other rewards.

After the initial 3 weeks, you'll have an additional 2 weeks to complete the Calendar—until February 23. If you miss a day, you'll be able to unlock it either for free (up to 3 days) or for 250 doubloons per day. You can complete the Calendar in War Tales, as well as Standard, Arcade, and Versus AI Battles.

The Marianne Commander guise has the following characteristics:

• Nation: France
• Voiceover: French
• Special effects: Red shell tracers, red-white-blue signal flare for horn sounding, and fireworks for activating Legendary skills
• Daily bonus: +30% Global XP when you hit enemies 45 times with your main battery guns in a single battle (can be activated once per day)

New Commander: Charles Bléry

One more activity you won't want to miss is the "Mer de Courage" mission for French ships, which can reward you with our new French destroyer Commander, Charles Bléry. He's an excellent match for classic French destroyers, including new Marceau. Here are his unique abilities:

• Base trait: Officier de Tir, increasing destroyer main battery range by up to 3% and damage against destroyers by up to 4%.
• Unique skill: Strong Diplomacy, increasing destroyer main battery traverse speed by up to 3.2°/s and Main Battery Reload Booster duration by up to 22.5%.
