Through the Spy Glass: Somme
Somme is a semi-historical Battle-class destroyer named after one of the largest engagements of World War I. She was designed with insights gained during wartime and ordered by the Admiralty in 1943. Construction began but was never completed due to the end of World War II.
Somme features stealthy, long-range torpedoes and a Torpedo Reload Booster consumable with unlimited charges, which can be swapped for Repair Party if preferred. The Torpedo Reload Booster's cooldown matches the torpedo reload time, allowing you to spam enemies with torpedoes and compensate for their relatively low damage.
In addition, Somme retains the good guns typical of British destroyers, allowing for a versatile playstyle. She also features the powerful British destroyer combination of a fast-cooling, short-duration Smoke Generator and the Sonar consumable.
