Through the Spy Glass: Blücher

Blücher is a historical Admiral Hipper-class German heavy cruiser, notable for her powerful armament and for having an advanced fire-control system for her era. In April 1940, Blücher served as a flagship during Operation Weserübung, the German invasion of Norway and Denmark. She was sunk on April 9, 1940, after coming under fire from Norwegian coastal defenses while attacking Oslo. 

In Legends, Blücher is a Tier VIII Premium cruiser that's ideal for AP-focused play. She features improved penetration angles and a slightly shorter fuse time, enhancing her AP damage output. Her artillery is similar in style to that of Soviet heavy cruisers. She also comes with an excellent Engine Boost consumable and an improved Repair Party. To add Blücher to your fleet, complete the Fire in the Fjords campaign with an active Admiralty Backing.

Karl von Müller is perfectly suited for the role of Blücher's Commander. His Hearty base trait increases your cruiser's maximum speed by up to 4%.

• Punch Through, improving your cruiser's main battery AP shell damage by up to 10% and your AP shell penetration multiplier by up to 6%.
