Duck of War II: Epic Clash in a Hot Tub

Captains, a crazy new game mode is coming on March 30! Dive into 3 weeks of wild 6v6 battles between rubber ducks in a hot tub. Lead your rubber flock to victory and earn unique rewards, including Quackmouflages, new Commander guises, and epic battleship Ducklinger!

Rules

The setup is simple: you'll fight in teams of six ducks in a big hot tub. You'll be randomly assigned one of three scenarios, and your goal in all of them is to capture Key Areas or destroy the enemy team.

When starting out, you'll have three rubber ducks to choose from, each with its own armament configuration and role—destroyer, cruiser, or battleship.

  • Don De la DuQue: An elegant aristocrat who becomes an avenger in a black mask at night, representing the destroyer archetype. He's armed with fast, hard-hitting, stealthy fizzy torpedoes and features excellent agility and speed.
  • Luigi McQuacci: An ex-cop trying to save his love, who was kidnapped by a gang of geese. He's essentially a cruiser, capable of HE spamming and armed with long-range, fast fizzy torpedoes. He also has a lightning-fast Engine Whoosh.
  • D.U.C.K.: A cyborg drake who arrived from the future to save duck-kind. He takes the battleship role and features very strong armor-piercing bubbles plus a lightning-fast Engine Whoosh to avoid enemy torpedoes.

You'll also be able to select three more ducks once you complete special missions named after each of them.

  • Duck Punchis: An officer of the law who follows the Code of the Duck to teach bad guys lessons. He represents the destroyer archetype with his strong HE bubbles, making him best suited for close-range fights against other destroyers and cruisers.
  • Furo: A legendary duck famous for his speed and high rate of fire, striking fear into his enemies. He takes the role of a cruiser with strong HE and AP bubbles, a ready rack, and a lightning-fast Engine Whoosh.
  • Quackaducko: A retired Special Drake Forces operative, trying to save his daughter, who was kidnapped by an enemy goose. His role is essentially that of a battleship—with strong HE and AP bubbles, stealthy short-range torpedoes, and a lightning-fast Engine Whoosh.

To successfully defeat enemies, each duck will need a Commander. Two options are available, each suited to a different playstyle:

  • Diego Pato Bravo increases the duck's survivability and improves main weapon performance.
  • Admiral Quackston focuses on torpedoes and increasing the duck's speed.

Commanders can be upgraded with Quackoins, which you can earn by completing various missions in Duck of War II mode.

Battle Tips

Here are a few secret tips that will help you become the best duck in the tub:

  • Every duck's weak spot is its head, but you need to be very precise to hit it.
  • If you can't aim at a duck's head for any reason, aim at the body instead.
  • You can't destroy a gun placed on a duck's head or a torpedo launcher, so avoid wasting effort on this.
  • Ducks that represent cruisers and battleships have citadels, just like real warships.
  • HE bubbles can only cause one fire aboard a duck at a time.
  • AP bubbles can cause flooding.
  • Ramming damage doesn't apply in the hot tub, so you can ram other ducks as much as you like.
  • Engine Whoosh works like standard Engine Boost for destroyer ducks, but it only provides a 0.5-second dash for cruiser and battleship ducks—short, but still effective for avoiding torpedoes.

Rewards

Complete weekly missions in the Duck of War II mode to receive cool rewards! The final prize is different each week: the Duck of War II flag in the first week, 2x Commendations in the second week, and German Tier IV Premium battleship Ducklinger in the final week. Other rewards include the Rubber Duck patch symbol, Duck Pool patch base, and new Quackmouflages.

Ducklinger may just be the fiercest quackleship afloat. And, most importantly, she's covered in rubber duckies! Based on German Tier IV battleship Derfflinger, sniping and long-range main battery combat is where she shines. She is more accurate, has more HP, and delivers higher per-shot damage and penetration. All this comes at the cost of slower reload speed, lower movement speed, worse concealment, and a shorter secondary battery range.
