Rank Up Three Times

Captains, new Ranked seasons are here! This time, it's all about the number three: you can look forward to three seasons of 3v3 battles—let's check out the details.

First, a quick reminder of how Ranked battles work: win battles, earn stars, and rise through the ranks. A draw counts as a loss for both teams. Getting to Rank 1 makes you ineligible to play in the season—it means you’re one of the best already, so let people play and stop sinking everyone!

Now for the best thing—the prizes! Among the rewards you can get are: Commander progression items, various crates, doubloons, camos, and up to 500 Steel each season! You can see the distribution in the infographics and broken down in corresponding season sections—the better you do, the more prizes you’ll get. Please note that except for the 200 Steel given for reaching Rank 3, which ships out after the season ends, the prizes are distributed upon hitting the corresponding ranks.

Season 26

Ship types: All except carriers; 1 destroyer per team

DD: Clemson—a fierce little gunboat that packs a torpedo wallop. You'll outgun and outlive your DD opponent on top of bringing a good utility smoke for your teammates
BB: Ishizuchi—while not the best armored, she's fast and her guns hit hard. Perfect to keep up with your teammate escort or flank your opponents
CA: Duguay-Trouin—with guns large enough to overmatch the cruiser competition and numerous torpedoes for the occasional brawl, Duguay doesn't tread lightly.

TheSailingRobin's picks for Season 27:

DD: Acasta—with eight torpedo tubes at this tier, combined with her quick smoke cooldown, Acasta is hard to nail down, but beware of the relatively weak guns.
BB: Conte di Cavour—you're bringing the largest broadside at the tier with 13 guns and close-range secondaries that no one wants to come under fire from.
CA: Königsberg—it's all about the guns on this ship, but keep in mind that even destroyers can put a serious dent in your armor, which you have little of.

DD: Gaede—a jack of all trades for the tier, with good torpedoes, large-caliber guns, and utilities such as Sonar. The 5.9-inch (150 mm) AP shells can citadel cruisers.
BB: Queen Elizabeth—a very accurate and maneuverable battleship that benefits from strong HE shells. Keep your distance with enemy BBs, though.
CA: Graf Spee—if you want the extra firepower for your team, consider this resilient cruiser. She is, however, not the fastest nor the sneakiest.
