I'm sorry @T33kanne. I know you want me to respect others opinion on the issue, but I respect those who served on those ships enough to never want them to be direspected the way the anime themes do. Keeping the ships historical encourages younger generations to learn about their history, adding cartoons makes light of those who served and their sacrifices. I'm admittedly old fashioned, my family still eats together at dinner table, only one TV, my kid( oldest) spends most of his free time outside, etc. TBH I would not have an issue with anime themes on paper ships or ones which construction was never completed, as no one served on them. I could not imagine slapping anime themed colors on a legendary ship like the U.S.S Johnston for example.

ok let me get something seriously straight. I respect your opinion that you maybe don't like anime themed content - well thats up to you and thats fine BUT why are you so negative? I mean i am not a fan of anime series like Arpeggio of Blue Steel but its free content = free ships. (I am talking here from my PC Experience back in the days when this stuff was added) And there is a button that you can deactivate all the camos so you don't see them but you can still use the ships. So where is the Problem? And you are not better, there are people who like this content - so you should respect their opinion as well PS: some of the anime themed ships have cool skins and special effects dedicated to that
