Will it carry over to release? If so will the premium time be paused for players that don't have access to CBT? Will it still be available to "purchase" at release? Asking because I'm not sure if it's worth taking for the beta weekend or saving until release, 30 days of premium for free sounds fantastic, but if it's going to tick down to nothing between this weekend and the April release it's certainly not worth using.

All in-game items and progress, whether from the store or earned via progression and missions will be wiped at the end of this beta. When the game launches, you will start completely afresh aside from the pre-registration goodies. If you took part in 10 or more battles, you will also receive a special commemorative flag some time after launch

Well worth the wait! Looks great, plays well. Why did War Gaming think they needed to change in battle U/I (mini map/HP) layout? I hope we get option to change placement of mini map, or classic pc setup/console setup. Also, keyboard and mouse is a must! I am so glad that Worships was brought to console, hope it does well. See everyone on the seas!

While in port looking at all your ships I've noticed that LT/LB, RT/RB are unused, and could be used to help streamline the menu. Either LT or RT could toggle into a free cam mode, where HUD is removed, the ship is centered, and you are able to pan and zoom for screenshots of your ships . LB and RB should be used to switch game modes directly from the port. This would streamline a lot, and remove the extra sub menu for mode selection. In turn it would also enable you to go directly to and from the menu using the B button. You wouldn't need to select 'Battle' and then mode just to enter port.

a torpedo that hits below the turrets cam easily detonate your magazines, resulting in an instant kill. torpedoes are not really op - unless they hit you. however … you can avoid being hit by them. Quite easily in fact. The first thing you need to be aware of is your positioning and the downsides of your ship class. BBs are slow and need time to turn. You have to take that into account. Less mobility is a very big downside in cqb. As a result you don't seek cqb with ships who have torpedoes. Going into cqb willingly against ships with extreme alpha strike capabilities violates multiple red lines. Positioning, mobility issues and pire danger seeking. its quite easy to avoid torpedoes: first - its easy to recognize if DDs are around. they simply outspot you. If you get outspotted for a longer period of time, its very likely that a DD is around and wants to torp you. second - if you can expect a torpedo attack, you alter your course and speed. Torpedoes are in fact slow and even small alterations to speed and course make them miss you. third - don't sail alone and in the first line. This one is self explaining. Torpedoes and DD are the hard counter to BBs. ask a cruiser if BB AP is op and the answer will not be to your liking if you are a BB. a DD does not like cruiser HE, hydro and radar either. torpedoes are not op - they simply capitalize on mistakes and reckless play and punish them - just like any other burst damage ability. for 💩 and giggles

They could have hit your gun/magazine modules....... PS: always try to record your game play, at least than you can look back at it and review it.

Was it flooding that killed you or straight damage from the torps? Also was it possible you had been hit by more than 2 or gunfire as well?

First you will need the code. It is possible that you may not of received one( but check spam folder) If you received a code you need to enter it on the store page for xbox( not sure about ps4) this has nothing to do with WOTC

I think that is provided to my CBT easier. I personally have seen it few times in our testing. As far as I know the accounts will be wiped before April 16th.

This message has been deleted by mistake so I'm reposting it for all the interested parties. Our team has spotted some active discussions on friendly fire being a thing in our game and before that discussion becomes a military operation with casualties, we wanted to put an end to speculations and explain what's what. Let's start by stating that there is no friendly fire in World of Warships: Legends. It means that ships on your teams will be oblivious to your shells and torpedoes, yet will absorb them if a contact happens. So the only punishment for erroneous aiming or positioning of your ship in relation to your allies would be missed opportunity. This approach allows the game to be more friendly to the newer players and simultaneously keep the focus on battling enemy vehicles. Now, there obviously was a great deal of pondering regarding the issue, the pros and cons and how it would ultimately affect player experience. While we did argue that not having friendly fire is not realistic nor historically accurate, the questions that we had to answer at the end of the day were "What would having friendly fire really give us? What is its place within core gameplay mechanics of WoWS:L?". And if you think about it, it does not bring anything revelationary to the table, nor does it fit-in with the rest of mechanics. We believe that the choice of foregoing a fraction of realism for the sake of having a more user-friendly experience is not really a choice. Another important point that we considered is so called "griefing". You're probably familiar with the phenomenon in one way or another, but what it comes down to is emotional players trying to hurt their own team by either employing friendly fire or simply playing in such a way that helps the opposing team. There are also ways to "grief" players of the opposing teams but that requires a respawn mechanic in most cases (not present in this game). Realistically, it is nigh-impossible to forego such practices completely, so we decided to dispose of the most obvious way to ruin the evenings. This change from the PC version goes together with our ultimate goal of streamlining the warships experience and should contribute to most players having their naval fun uninterrupted.

I understand why account migration can't happen, but WG could start thinking about how to incentivize/reward players that play on both platforms. I would rather play both than have to quit one for the other...

Hello! There will be no migration or cross-platform experience between PC and consoles. We want to state that WoWs: Legends is a separate project. As for the welcome packages - it is still too early to talk about that. We shall share more information closer to the release. Believe me, if we have spoilers for you - we will deliver them immediately 😉

if we are chosen when will the game be available in the Xbox store to download it?

I highly doubt it will be available at release. That's a lot free XP, silver, and premium time. I imagine they would prefer players to play through the lines to better learn and understand how to play the ships.

If all the codes are out, I may as well give up on Legends.
