During the next 5 weeks, finish its 100 milestones with an active Admiralty Backing to unlock Spanish Tier VIII Premium battleship Victoria and other rewards. Victoria is equipped with the signature feature of Spanish ships in Legends—the ready rack, allowing her to fire two salvos in succession. While it takes quite a long time to reload her ready rack, this can be significantly reduced through use of the Main Battery Reload Booster consumable. On top of that, Victoria also boasts good speed and excellent maneuverability. The Admiralty Backing also unlocks additional weekly missions—complete them to earn more Renown Points and accelerate your progress through the campaign. If you miss any challenges, you can always use the built-in catch-up mechanic. Endurance and Shakedown Trials can be completed in Standard, Arcade, and Versus AI Battles, but note that Shakedown Trials may require more time to complete in Arcade and Versus AI Battles. There are now two login options you can use: Option one: For players who already have a console account but don't have a mobile account. Option two: For players who only have a mobile account and want to sync its progress with a console account that has never logged in to the game. Option One: If You Don't Have a Mobile Account 1. Launch the game on your mobile device. If you're already logged in, log out. 2. You'll see a screen with console sync buttons: 3. Tap the button that matches your account platform.     Japanese Hybrid Battleships Are Arriving!

It comprises Tier VI–VIII Tech Tree ships Ise, Suwo, and Dewa, as well as Legendary Tier Aki. All of them carry aircraft with impressive torpedo payloads, capable of executing powerful Airstrikes. The new line is inspired by the pair of Ise-class battleships—Ise and Hyūga—which were converted into hybrids during World War II by trading their aft turrets for catapults and hangars. Despite the fact that these ships didn't survive the war and no other similar vessels were created, you can still try "what if" versions in Legends! Watch our new video and read this article to learn everything about the new hybrid battleships! How to Get the New Ships During this update and until January 19, Tier VI–VIII battleships will be available in Early Access. Legendary Tier battleship Aki can be found exclusively in the Mystic Chest, which can drop from other Christmas crates—Mystic Box and Mystic Lantern—and is also available in the Mystic Bundle in the Store. If you miss Aki during this update, don't worry—she'll return at some point in 2026 as a Bureau Project. Tier VI Ise Ise was a historical, real-life battleship that was converted into a hybrid by the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War II. At first glance, she fits the classic profile of Japanese ships: excellent accuracy and firing range, but mediocre concealment and speed. However, she also has a full catapult flight deck that allows her to launch Airstrikes. That's why her main-gun damage per minute isn't particularly impressive. Her true power lies in her aircraft, which can strike with six torpedoes at once, albeit with a wide spread. Each torpedo doesn't deal much damage on its own, but together they form a powerful tool for blocking a flank or cutting off an enemy ship's path. Tier VII Suwo Suwo continues the idea of Japan's hybrid battleships. As Izumo's sister ship, she has lost one turret and carries less powerful main guns, but she makes up for it with strong air defenses and a catapult deck. While she has poor concealment and low speed, she also has high survivability thanks to her large HP pool. With only two turrets, her main guns enjoy improved accuracy, yet her damage per minute is extremely low. This is partly offset by the fact that you rarely need to turn—her gun layout keeps them pointed toward the target most of the time. Her Airstrike squadron includes four aircraft, allowing her to drop eight torpedoes at once. While each torpedo deals low damage, the combined strike can hit groups of ships hard. Tier VIII Dewa Dewa is a more advanced version of Suwo. Her guns are now identical to Izumo's, so expect higher damage per shell and excellent accuracy, but her damage per minute remains among the lowest at her tier. She still has poor concealment and low speed, but features stronger air defense and higher HP. Her planes now carry three torpedoes each, bringing the total to nine torpedoes per salvo. While the damage per torpedo remains low, the combined strike can still hit hard. Legendary Tier Aki Aki sits at the top of the new Japanese hybrid battleship line. She carries long-range, highly accurate Yamato-class guns—among the deadliest in the game. Although she has lost her rear turret, she gains a catapult deck instead. Her Airstrike drops 12 torpedoes, enough to effectively block enemies from capturing an area. As is typical for her branch, she has low speed and very modest concealment, but this is compensated for by her very high HP pool. Commander Jisaburō Ozawa Looking for a Commander whose abilities are a perfect match for the new ships? Meet the new Japanese Commander, Jisaburō Ozawa, now among the Legendary ranks. You can obtain him for Commander XP or find him in a Commander crate or Japanese Commander Crate. Base trait: "Ghost Fleet Maneuver," reducing Airstrike cooldown time by up to 5%. Unique skill: "Hidden Hand", increasing the number of Airstrike squadrons by 1 for the cost of Airstrike torpedo damage reduced by at least 10% and cooldown between Airstrike shots increased by 50%. From Tier IV, these ships feature unique Advanced Sonar that indicates the bearing of the most recent enemy torpedo launch point, even when it's not active. The Tier I and II ships will be available to research right away, while the Tier III and higher ships will be among the Pan-American Cruiser crate drops. Several of these crates will be available for free through the campaign, the Pan-American Legacy collection, and other sources. The new ships can also be found in the Atlantic to Pacific random bundle. Be sure to check out the Way of the Ancestors chained bundle to find special new skins for each Early Access ship, as well as Legendary Tier cruiser San Martín. The bundle is available for Beast Relics—a currency you can collect from various sources like the campaign and Calendar. If your team loses or the match ends in a draw, you'll lose a Star, unless you're the top XP earner on your team. Reaching the highest rank will bring an end to your participation in each season.     Everyone has pretty much said what i would i would only add. 1. When the voice says anything it takes a second or so for the battle sounds to come back to normal. 2. Everything is a little to bright making it hard to see some things. 3. The Hud is awkward being top left. Just a suggestion.

    Unofficial Closed beta poll

    I have found with console conversions of World of Tanks and now World of Warships, the progression/upgrade system keeps getting dumbed down. Like console players aren't capable or can't be bothered with a more in-depth system. I'm sure that, for some, this is absolutely true and a nice simple system and just play the game without much tinkering and tweaking in the garage/port. I and quite a few others I know love to do that I want all the extra stats to play with like how various equipment affects weight, I'll use examples from tanks because my current knowledge of that is higher. On Wots console there are just upgrade packages so you can focus on the tracks and engine on a slow tank so that you can atleast get to battle to earn some xp before upgrading other aspects like turret, gun, radio, etc. Or focus on view range via turret and radio upgrades for light tank passive scouting, they're usually further down the packages list so you just have to make do. Or if a gun is so terrible for its tier you could get the next one that you already have and deal with the reduced movement speed due to lack of engine and track upgrades and increased pressure on the engine. Don't like the gun on the top package but can't have the better turret, engine or something else without it. Things like that would add more variety to gameplay for those who want it but for those who don't the current system is fine. In the packages screen, the current package system at the top and the pc system underneath, you could choose the way you prefer without forcing change on those who are happy with the way things are. I would enjoy WoWL more the more choice i have. When upgrading a ship you can go down the console style they've created and adding a more in-depth system similar to PC and you could choose which you prefer. Nobody ever complains about having extra options even if you have no interest in the extra options presented. I personally also would like to be able to further expand on my port when the game comes out, if you could have more setups/focuses/options. I would probably want multiple of some classes and would happily grind a ship I liked for the next tier up and then continue to grind that same ship for a second of it's class and give that a different focus. In the closed Beta, on one of the American BBs there was an upgrade that gave abit extra health, more AA and stripped a bunch of secondarys. I didn't want to lose those secondarys but I did want the hull upgrade to armour and health. If that had been say the Queen Elizabeth BB, you could grind the HMS Queen Elizabeth, grind the next tier up and if you wanted, continue to play the QE and unlock HMS Barham and set it up differently to HMS Queen Elizabeth. Maybe once completing an entire line you can go back and 're grind out the entire line unlocking sister ships like some kind of prestige ships to prevent a drop in player base at the lower tiers while everyone sits and plays the top tiers on tanks there is no reason or reward to play in lower tiers other than seal clubbing only in the most powerful of the tier. With this if you wanted the most prestigious top tiers you'd have to go through the lower tiers spreading the player base rather than it all being concentrated at the top tier after a couple of months. This means those who don't/can't progress as fast still get a healthly mix of good to less experienced players in the mix rather than a massive division developing as time goes on. This would probably be difficult to implement in places though as obviously some ships were the only ones in class and some a 2nd one wasn't even planned and cancelled. The premium ships or tanks also baffle me to a degree in a couple of ways. By having them solely as premiums robs the tech tree of extra options/ships. You get them and until you play them can't even be sure you like them. You can make an educated guess but beyond that it's a shot in the dark. Also, low tier players can buy a high tier premium without a clue how to play it. Premiums could just be variants of tech tree ships that gain extra dabloons/commander xp/free xp etc, unlocked to buy for gold when you unlock that ship, which upgrades as you upgrade the tech tree ship, that way you know if you like and enjoy the playstyle of the ship in advance, No one can complain that premiums are cheat ships like they do on WoT because it'd be exactly the same and you couldn't buy it until you unlocked it. It would essentially create far more premiums to sell that would be opened up to people steadily as they progress through the game. You could guarantee value for money if you know people love their purchase every single time and people would be more likey to buy them because at the height of their love for a ship as they play it is "released" to them as a premium. More ships for people to work on, more for them to buy, no bitterness to premium owners like there is in WoT, It could extend the longevity of the game. I always thought WoT premium tanks like the IS6 becoming near obsolete over the years, they cease to be competitive. Because of that I always have the worry that if I purchase a premium in WoT or soon in WoW that my £35-£40 purchase will be rendered absolutely useless in a couple of years. I don't have a clue what can be done about that as waves of balance changes come in but it's worth keeping an eye on. Though similar in many ways WoT and WoW are also very different hence all of the comparison. I'd love to know if certain earnable hero/Premium ships would be brought in and if so how it would be implemented. Sorry for the small book of ramblings I've written, very excited for the game, been wishing it'd come to console since it was first announced for PC and look forward to playing it for atleast the next 5yr.   21. I think they are worried about the screen being too cluttered and hard to read if they use numbers instead of health bars, especially if players are sitting on their couch playing. As far as telling if your top/lower tier just look at the ship list on the map. I don't really think they could do that with the upgrade packages. On PC they had a comparison at the beginning of the match but not heard if they will add it here.

  24. i want to see them added but the implementation in PC is already highly questionable. the veteran CV players say, that especially the lower tiers are not really interesting to play while offering seal clubbing gameplay. CV vs CV fights are basically bs, because of the auto use of defensive fighters for CVs. You need surface ships to battle CVs. On the other hand, CVs are still the last ones to be spotted and shot at. some ship lines deal far better with planes than others. US cruisers will cement tier roles as top dogs, while other lines become more and more useless. same for battleships. DDs in general will have a very hard time, because their AA is 💩. Notser just uploaded a video, where he was sailing a full AA built gearing and despite using all charges of def-AA, he did not shoot down a single plain. he said that you basically need your smoke to do your jobs. Other lines except Russians and Americans will have even higher problems, because they don't even have def-AA to panic enemy fighters, while having crap-AA. he was basically harassed and worn down by endless fighter waves, without being able to defend against them. Overall very frustrating (they dealt only chip damage but very often) gameplay. Not necessarily OP in regards of damage done by the CV but because he simply was helpless. this needs to be looked at. He had far less problems in his BBs (other videos) against the planes and he is not going to have problems in his AA cruisers either but the rework seems to have missed its purpose. it was meant to enhance the CV gameplay and to take pressure off DDs, while making BBs have to worry about planes again. If you follow farrazela and notser(and other players), it looks like they failed. While high tier becomes interesting again from a CV perspective, it becomes extremely frustrating for DDs. if they come to the console, i will off course play CVs - at least to test and understand them but i am very skeptical about the implementation. It needs a lot of fine tuning. the graf zeppelin should off course be added to the game. Its already playable on PC. Btw it was basically a finished ship bit they could not decide what planes they should use. However - they first need to balance carrier gameplay and reach their goals. Fun gameplay for CV players, threat to BBs, take pressure off DDs.

    Thoughts so far...

    Colour me impressed. I love the higher torpedo view, the better perspective really helps when lining up shots. I love the captain system, the pc version just seemed fiddly and too micro intensive. I really like how the ship defaults to a straight line, so course corrections are exactly that. Corrections. Not commitments. Being a seasoned WOT Console player, the straight, situational, AP/HE choice is BEYOND refreshing. I’m known among my friends as a bit of a rager...many a controller has been lost on the line of duty. But this hits the adrenaline just right, with soooo much less RNG/luck based punishments. It rewards skill. If you do badly, just learn and do better. If I surprise a destroyer he is RIP. I outplay him, poof, reward. I love the reload circles in the middle, I had no idea how you guys would implement that on console, but wow. Top notch, it conveys information such as gun position, turn rate, and the reload status of every individual gun/turret seamlessly. Seriously give the brain box that came up with that a bonus!! I like the module/upgrade progression system, if i were to be nit picky, I’d say it was a touch “too” simplistic, was hoping for more customisation, but I’m only at tier 4 so that may well come later!! One “tiny” other thing... we are all used to the map in the bottom right, wot console, wot pc and WOW pc are all bottom right... I find myself never looking at it or just glancing at my ammo selection. It’s like suddenly driving on the wrong side of the road... you can do it... but you’ll probably hit a lot more mountains... Anyway, thank you for putting up with my Essay, I’ll add more as I progress and if anything else jumps out at me! Thanks guys!!
